Came across these in/from songs and thought they sounded rather Flemingesque;

'Little Things Of Venom'

'Some Flowers Bloom Dead'

I can imagine a great Richard Chopping style cover for the second one.

I also saw this Fleetwood Mac song and thought it would make for a nice bond title, if a little bit out there.

'The Green Manaleashi With The Two Pronged Crown'

What d'ya think?
Anyone else got some good ones?

Dark Horizons (okay, it's the title of a site for movie geeks, but, hey, if we're going to look to such sites for inspiration, it would surely be a better choice than, say, Ain't It Cool News)

Death Day (Bond is on assignment in Mexico during the Day of the Dead celebrations; Day of the Dead would sound too much like a zombie movie title, though)

Getting Away With It

Girls and Boys With Guns

Heat (it's probably been the title of dozens of books and films, so why shouldn't it be used as a Bond novel title? And if John Gardner can write a book called "Cold"....:))

I Knew It Couldn't Last (a novel along the lines of "The Spy Who Loved Me", written by a woman who has a passionate fling with 007 during one of his missions)

The Korea Kill (Bond is sent to assassinate someone in Seoul but finds he has walked into a trap)

Obsession

Pandora's Box (say no more)

Stars and Stripes (007 in the United States, natch)

A Piece of the Action (Moneypenny in the thick of things, so to speak)
The Best of Both Worlds
Turnabout Intruder (Bond and a jealous ex girlfriend switch minds)
The Cage (Bond gets kinky)

I'm currently trying to work on series of short stories involving Bond and two of my titles are 'Dead on Arrival' and 'Cause of Death'. I plan to have four stories in total and then work it into a piece such as Fleming's FYEO and OP.

Are you going to tie all the stories together by using death, die or dead in the titles? That might be an interesting idea. You could perhaps have a seperate title for the novel, like fleming subtitled FYEO; five secret occasions in the life of james bond. Then have different titles for all the stories, using a linking word in each title.

Just an idea, i'm sure you've got something in mind already though.

Hawkeye.

What is it with you and Star Trek references anyway? And you left out the best titles: "The Dagger of the Mind" , "The Conscience of the King", "Balance of Terror", "The Enemy Within", "A Taste of Armageddon" "Operation: Annihilate!", "The Doomsday Machine", "The Savage Curtain", "Sacrifice of Angels", "'Til Death Us Do Part", "Once More Unto the Breach" , "By Inferno's Light" , "Apocalypse Rising", "In Purgatory's Shadow", and the "The Drumhead."
