I like the different book cover depictions from around the world for the Ian Fleming novels. I recently bought the one attached below. It's a Chile 1967 paperback version of "Dr. No". I think it's interesting in that the villain shown is Joseph Wiseman from the movie, but Bond and Honey are artist depictions that do not resemble Connery or Andress. The rear cover has some nice pics from the movie. I had to alter the picture of the book a bit to remove some creasing and paper loss. Anyone else have have any cover depictions to share?

I like the American Bamtam paperback cover of Moonraker, the representation of Bond makes him look like a dead ringer for Clint Eastwood.

I remember a white book that, I think, had the characters drawn in a bluish tint and Bond has longish hair. Am I thinking of the right one?
I also like the artwork of Sam "Peff" Peffer. His FRWL for Pan Books is one of my favorites. He also did some posters and film tie-in covers for books. I wondered if he ever drew a Connery pose. I took his version of CASINO ROYALE and added Connery's head from a Swedish comic to get an idea of how might look. (Sorry Peff)

A gentleman in Turkey once sent me some scans of some 007 paperbacks he had for sale. I bought a few from him. One that i wanted had CASINO ROYALE with a Roger Moore cover with a hint of the Octopussy poster thrown in. Unfortunately, a different one was substituted for it. I contacted him, but never did get the book.

I really love the new ones that are coming out here in the USA -- very stylish...
I used to buy all the old novels (when I was much younger) from town fairs...I think I built up the entire Fleming collection that way...
