I admire your ethics, DLib.

One of my most painful experiences was dealing with infidelity from a *boyfriend* whom I thought was going to be my future husband. Even today, after so many years, when I think about it, I get a twinge. I agree this sort of thing is treated far too lightly, there's so much pain involved.

A few years ago a girlfriend cheated on me so I can empathize with you... I think that marriage is a commitment made in the presence of God so I treat it very seriously.

Okay, DLib I’m with you. I have been with Mrs. * alone since the day I met her over fifteen years ago. And I wouldn’t want it any other way.

However, other people don’t always see things the same way.

First, we don’t know that Roger ever had sex outside of his marriage, but even if he did we don’t know what exactly the status of his marriage was at the time. Roger is a private man, and if he and his wife had been seperated I don’t think we would have found out. There are also people who give permission for thier spouse to roam.

Whatever the case, it is a matter is between Roger and his then wife.

All of that said, the only evidence of anything going on between Roger and Maud I’ve seen in this thread is someone saying ‘I think they did it.’. Which, of course, is none.

Thank you Mr *...I know there are people out there who give their spouse permission to roam, but I know could never do that....
I personally do not believe that Roger and Maud Adams were ever more than just good friends.

with me.. I never look at men as bad when it comes to sex.. or sexual thoughts or actions.. because ALL men would fall short..

I look at what men do for others.. and that makes them a great person.. hey in your personal life thats different..

thats "their" personal life.

But what Roger has done for kids,ect.. thats great :)

no ones perfect.. and if you notice whenever you want to "nail" a guy..when you dont like him they always "nail" you on your sexual ****..

which you can do with any man.... no ones different ..no ones perfect.

* while congress was trying to nail Clinton.. in that same guys that were throwing stones.. had broads on the side..

IT is just so cheap and really if you need to go after a guys sexual life.. you know you have nothing else..but that to nail a guy:rolleyes:

4 Ur Eyez Only -- infidelity is wrong....no ifs ands or buts, it's just plain wrong and people who cheat on their spouses are mentally sick and depraved!

This raises a question: is infidelity forgivable?

Well those that cheat quite obviously need medication and counseling...Personally, I think cheating leads to a breakdown in trust, which is one of the essential building blocks to a successful relationship.

Folks...again...I gotta ask....

Is it really our business to be having this discussion about two people we don't know, and whose behavior in no way will effect our lives?

This thread will not be closed, but I think some folks need to seriously think about whether or not this topic is worthy of discussion.

I agree to an extent Xenobia....but I think a discussion on infidelity is what this thread has become...

Who gives a stuff? We're only animals.

Let them do what - and who - they damn well like.

Still - Moore and Adams - aggregate age of about 100? It is a bit like imagining one's grandparents at it. Hmm. Hold that thought.

Rather not Jim if it's all the same with you :)
