I definately think that the Producers should cast someone Black this time as the Baddy.

graves was a let down for me as well
That really irked me. So childish at a time when he should've been at his most menacing.

I enjoyed that line. Coupled with that smirk when he said, "time to face destiny", you just realise how much you hate the guy!

Caveat: I think it also works because of the over-the-top nature of the second half of the film. If the line were said in the first half, then yes, it would have been inappropriate.

Looks like Righty is starting for you bond111. At the time I would have agreed but it could have been just anther double like in DAF. The real truth is that Bloefeld died when EON lost the rights to the character and the other fellows got the rights to remake Thunderball as many times as they want to. Of course he also died in the books. YOLT I believe.
I wish EON would find a way to buy them back and bring the whole SPECTRE organization back. The KGB and SMERSH aren't any good anymore and Al Queda is just too politically charged to use.
Who would play Blofeld now though and how would they do it without him coming off as Dr. Evil's smarter twin. Maybe they could use Gardner's Blofeld's daughter angle.

It would be nice if that could be proven.
Sadly, it can't.
