* We'll see Moneypenny
* Bond will drive the Aston Martin Vanquish
* Bond will drink a 1992 Bollinger Grand Anne
* We'll see Ice in some form, possibly caves (we have good reason to believe this)

OK guys, before this thread unravels like a piece of TWINE (oops, I mean twine), let's recap from the above input:
[unorder=square][#][Bond will drive an aston martin vanquish,
[#]He will wear an Omega Seamaster Professional Dive Chronometer,
[#]He will drink 1992 Bollinger Grand Anne,
[#]Judi Dench will appear as M,
[#]Her office will feature in scenes,
[#]John Cleese will appear (presumably as Q),
[#]Moneypenny will appear,
[#]The bad guys will drive Jaguar XKRs,
[#]An asian location will be used for scenes (but not necessarily set in the country of filming),
[#]An ice cave will feature in the climax battle scenes][/unorder]
What else?
I must have missed an article about Bollinger appearing in Bond 20. I mean, it was cast that it would appear in the film, but when did we hear about this?

Blue Eyes (03 Nov, 2001 04:20 a.m.):
Yes we will see He a 1992 Bollinger Grand Anne, but I can't be sure that we'll see Bond drink it. We say a 1990 Grande Anne in TWINE, with the 'ice' scene with Elektra in bed. And somewhere in GE and TND (at Carver's party I believe) we saw different Bollinger's again. I can't remember for the life of me right now where it is in GE, but you may recall all the Bollinger posters with Bond on them.
But that doesn't mean that he will be drinking Bollinger in Bond 20 does it?. The contract between EON and Bollinger could have expired. Maybe, for sentinmental reasons they'll go back to Dom Perignon like the early films.

OIL AGAIN! I suppose post-9/11 they want to be sensitive about having terrorists in their plots and we're all tired of drug-dealer villains. We saw the villain trying to take over the oil supply in The World Is Not Enough, surely they won't use the same plot two movies in a row.
[rant] And on the post-9/11 subject, I'd like to say to all movie makers in world: I want to see terrorists in my movies. Now more than ever. Only now at the end of the movie I want the death of the terrorist to be more gruesome and more painful.[/rant]

Just after the 'Race' between Bond and Xenia.

Where does this stuff about an ice battle come from Blue Eyes. Still...I take every detail you tell us lately very seriously, and I'm getting very excited !. If Siberia turns out to be a location in the story...well...it's close to China, South Korea & Japan, so it makes some sense. This is so intriguing I can't wait to find out what the CAPER is !.Blue Eyes (30 Oct, 2001 10:12 p.m.):
* We'll see an Asian location featuring in the film.
* The Ice Caves will feature as the final battle location.

The character is reportedly a Texas billionaire who wants to take over the world's oil supplies.
Nothing is finalised yet, but this is one of many storylines being considered by EON.

My feeling is, I'm not too sure that he is. Don't ask my why, it's just a feeling.

They always say this. For the big beardy Lordy's sake, they said it about Stacey Sutton, and that was an abject lie, so why should this time be any different?
* We really get into the character of James Bond in this film. He's a real man, not a superhuman.
They always say this too.
* This one has a contemporary plot, really up to the minute.
Ditto
* You'll believe a man can fly
Sorry, wrong film. But at least that film exists.
* "Bond, James Bond"/ Brosnan adjusts his tie/ blatant single entendre with Miss Moneypenny (yawn) and a superficially amusing gadget.
erm...oh come on EON; even if you don't tell us the plot in detail, tell us the bloody title. There's a whiff of everything still being up in the air and EON trying their damndest to keep a lid on things. I sense a bit of trouble. Pressure cooker time. There's now barely a year to turn everything around. This time next year, it's in the can. Tick, tock. Tick, tock. Last minute rewrites? You've had three years to get it right. Surprise is one thing, but it this case, ignorance is not bliss. One chink of light, please. Not too many, don't give the game away yet. But the merest confirmation of the merest thing might be nice. Or is it all still undecided?

To be honest scaramanga, I'm not too sure either. I saw Blue Eyes post it somewhere earlier on, and therefore have no doubt that it's true.scaramanga (02 Nov, 2001 10:44 a.m.):

I have not checked to see if Bollinger have a web-page that indicates that Bond will scoff their plonk.
