I'm back for the Spyfest/Bond Collector's Weekend 6 and I had a great time. The public turnout for the Spyfest convention was on the light side, but all the usual suspects were on hand for the BCW and it was a blast as always! Here's a pic to kick things off.

wow! looks llike you had a great time mingling with the stars! i got a yearly invite to spyfest (well, an email detailing dates and locations) and yet again was unable to attend. maybe if i wasn't a student! next year, though i WILL be there..

Wowzers, looks like a brilliant time! Like TGWTGG, I intend to be there next year, but my student debts kept me away this year!

I thought the event was terrific as well. Zencat and Bryce I was looking for you guys during the day on Sat. but realiazed I had no idea what you looked like anyway. Regardless pretty much all of the speakers were great. Highlights were the CIA (PR) guy and the ex-KGB agent. John Cork and Bruce Scivally, the writers of the James Bond Legacy were there and very kind and interesting to talk to. I also spent a little time with all of the Bond actors and they were all very kind and wonderful. Their panel was very interesting, but I wanted it to go on much longer. I have a few pictures from the event as well and will try to post them later this week.

I'm sorry I didn't see you, Ry! I was in and out of the room all day Sat. I spoke on a panel with John Cork and others on Sunday.

I agree the KGB and CIA guys were fascinating!

So, Bryce, judging from your first pic, you and Flicka even got your names changed to Hugo and Holly for the event? Lucky bugger, not many people can say they know someone named Goodhead. Glad to see you had a good time, "Hugger." Wish I could've been there, but seeing as how I'm only 16 and on the other side of the continent, it was a bit of a problem. If they hold it in Toronto, I'll buy the drinks.

Yes, the "Double-0 Newlywed Game" was dreamed up by a couple and the put three Bond girls with three Bond villains and asked the usual questions but all relating to Bond. It was a hoot.

Some girls just have all the luck. I didn't bother with a camera, but trust me the weekend is burned in my mind forever.

I used to say I wanted more ladies on staff, but forget that! I was surrounded by not one, not two, but three gorgeous men all weekend. I ain't giving that up for anything! (Sorry MBE. Expect an email with much details.)

The two highlights for me were the panels of spies where the ex-KGB guy spoke with a candor that was quite refreshing, and my extended chat with John Cork. That the man that is "The Legacy" spoke to me is surreal.
