Has anyone else ever noticed the cameo by Kevin McClory in Thunderball?

He's seen for about two seconds in the scene when James Bond walks into the casino to play against Largo. McClory is sitting in a chair smoking. I think it was one of the most difficult cameos to find in a Bond film.

Just wondering if anyone else has ever noticed it.

DieAnother Day57, Kevin McClory is the infamous producer of the rival film, Never Say Never Again. He was also the producer of Thunderball. Many people call him 'the real enemy of James Bond.' He sued Ian Fleming for the rights to Thunderball, went against the official series to make NSNA and recently tried to amek another James Bond film in 2000, when he was finally shut down by the courts. This is one man who has really shaken and stirred the James Bond series.

Yeah Bond Fans hate that guy. I would have liked to see Warhead get made though, just so we had another unofficial Bond film.
This was originally going to be made in 1977 but funding fell through and the project was dropped. Connery was set to star and produced but walked away. NSNA was then made in 1983 and ever since, McClory has tried to make Warhead and tried to get it off the ground in 2000, supposedly with Dalton (it would have been called Warhead 2000) but nothing happened.
Apparantly he's also been trying again recently and Connery was asked to star as an older and more mature Bond but I don't know if that was just a fan rumour.

I don't believe I've ever noticed him but then I can't say I was looking. B) Thanks for the heads-up, Qwerty.

Hey...he did bring us another Bond film. The more Bond the better as far as I'm concerned. That said, NSNA wasn't that great.

They've aged like a fine Claret, Qwert.

(Seriously though, I thought this one was intriguing. I really never knew.)

McClory is dead, so I don't think he's still at making another Bond.

DieAnotherDay57 hasn't been seen since 2004 so his post doesn't surprise me.

1. I haven't been on the Team for a little over a year now.

2. No still from a James Bond film is allowed to be put in [img] tags regardless of whether Danjaq/UA/Eon/MGM/Sony is credited or not.
