Well, folks, it died after much drooling and clicking, so I figured it was high time to resurrect the Catherine Bell as the next James Bond girl thread. She's way better than Halle Barry, and she looks good in uniform and out, as you will see.

Yep, I watch way too much JAG, but that is okay. Unlike the Steven Stifler as Bond thread, I am very serious about Catherine being with Pierce in the next Bond, which may be his last. So, here she is, folks, I give you Catherine...again.

I am in full support of Catherine Bell being the next Bond girl. I was one of the main supporters of this idea when it came up a few months ago.

It would be cool if she was some military inteligence officer, but I agree, she should not play a Jinx role, where she is a female James Bond.

She is not that famous, just a moderate TV show, and she is not american, She is half English, and half Iranian, which acounts for her perfect tan

Thank you for some of your positive comments regarding Catherine as a Bond girl. I definitely would not want to see another Jinx like character, exactly. Give her some vulnerability, not quite so kick ***. I really like the work she does each week on JAG, and wouldn't mind seeing her a military intel officer, but I don't know how Catherine would feel about playing another military character after 8-9 yrs of JAG.

Hell, she could play anything she wants as far as i'm concerned but she's got a good range and can light up the screen with her smile.

I seriously doubt anyone at EON would be smart enough to cast her however, it'd be the best piece of casting since Dame Dench.

I like Catherine Bell a lot, I think she is very talented, and I think she would make a great Bond girl...

Which is precisely why I hope she isn't one.

Sorry boys, but with the exception of Elektra, the Brosnan Bond girls have not be written all that well. If they can give her a good role, with a good script, go for it...otherwise...nope.

BTW, I know Eon has toyed in the past with TV work. I think it would be kind of interesting to have Bond cross paths with Mac and Harm on "JAG" because Sarah McKenzie is just the type to turn Bond down, even if she and Harm aren't together!

Just seeing David James Elliot and Pierce in the same scene would be fun. They are both tall guys. Elliot is 6.4 and Brosnan might be a bit shorter.

I would enjoy the admiral and Bond sizing each other up, and then the admiral turning Bond loose on Mac. That would be most enjoyable.

The guy who plays the Admiral on that show is one of my faves. He actually played a Navy guy in A Few Good Men, ironically enough. He plays the guy who turns down Demi Moore's initial request to represent the two Marines. He already has decided to give the task to Tom Cruise.

Anyhow, back to Catherine...hey, she doesn't have Halle Barry's paycheck, or Oscar, but she's really good, folks. Good, solid actress AND she looks great. God, I sound like the cliched line that the Bond filmmakers always say after they've cast the most recent Bond girl. Could it be...? HA! Wishful thinking.

I agree with Xenobia, though I would love to see Catherine Bell as a Bond girl, I am afraid that they would write her character badly and not take full advantage of her wonderful acting.

By the way, Did anybody see Bruce Almighty? Catherine played the anchorwoman trying to suduce Jim Carrey. She was very sexy in that role.

There's a really great pic from a FHM shoot done aboard the Queen Mary, from the collection from BC's above. Except in this pic she's in a millitary top, green bikini and standing near the rails. Ohhhh yeeess.
