Roger Michell was a good and realistic suggestion however.

I don't think Proyas is one of the likeliest candidates, either, but I was just trying to think of directors we haven't discussed yet. I'm sure there must be a handful of names we've overlooked. Same goes for actors, and that's the reason I brought up Mackintosh. I know this is off-topic (my apologies to Tarl_Cabot), but what about Roland Joffe? It's funny how predicting future Bond directors is every bit as tough as predicting future Bonds - one would think it would be much easier. But we'll take that discussion to the appropriate thread (http://forums.comman...30&pagenumber=1).

You know, I'm starting to suspect that we have to make due with Roger Donaldson, Jon Amiel, Stephen Hopkins, Stuart Baird, Michael Caton Jones and ex Bond directors like Campbell, because I haven't been able to find one new name since I started my Bond 21 Directors List. And I compiled that one months ago. But perhaps I did miss one or two. Let me know if you find them.

Stuart Baird...I loved Executive decision...I'm surprised that film doesn't get lots of attention after 9-11(arab suicide highjackers?). I heard Star Trek 10 was garbage though...:) Of course I love The Edge and hate DAD...
