Ever notice how in the later gardners (We've been reviewing) Half the book seems to be involved around M's office and the Q scenes or Qu'te scenes were kept short or not even at all...Then Benson came in and the M scenes were five pages and the Q scenes were always there...I think its intresting how Benson's flow of writing M and Bond scenes goes off extremely well unlike the gardner ones which i think ...what the hell here we are half the book away and Bond's not even left the office...and qu'te why did we just keep Major Boothryd?...strange but i still like the gardners...I guess i just grew up with Benson behind bond.
another element i like about Benson is how he introduces you to the villain...and doesn't leave it like a guessing game...nor does his villains have the weird..birthdifect or what ever that pleagues Gardner and the Cinema Bond.
....is it just me or am i ragging Gardner tonight?
