Well very nearly free anyway

The need may arise to get hold of a book to read for the Blades Book Club (or for any other reason) without spending the full new retail price - Well as a little free service, I can probably get you what you need. My local charity book shop puts every Bond novel aside for me (dozens of them so far). I usually get them for about 50pence each. So those who want one need only cover my costs and postage (probably all in - 2US$ worldwide).

Anyway send any requests to [email protected] and I will do my best for you.

50p wont secure you a first edition copy of Casino Royale, but I have lots of pretty old paperback and hardbacks.

Please remember that this is a non profit service. I won't be sending multiple books out to one person, so they can simply sell them for double on ebay.

regards

Anything to increase the readership Mr Asterix! As this thread disappears into obscurity, if you could mention my idea to anyone you see who needs a book, that would be helpful

cheers - flares

Please do keep updating us on these Flares as I really want a complete collection of the UK 2002 releases before the end of the year and don't really want to spend too much on them. Also would it be possible for you to state teh relative condition of each book. I know that for 50p you can't expect much but it at least would let me have an idea of the ones in better condition.

I'll let you know if anything on your list takes my fancy. Cheers.

Each time I walk past the shop, the guy sticks his head out the door and shouts if he has more for me. So I will update the list as and when more comes in.

I'll keep an eye out for the 2002 releases for you too Tanger.

My Town is full of little book shops overflowing with second hand books, and I often look through these others as well as relying on my trusty charity shop pal. In fact if anyone wants a hardback of Licence Renewed, It is currently sitting in one shop for

Ok Flares cheers.

About that Licence Renewed, I read in another topic that the member [dark] was after a copy. I suggest you PM him and see if he's still interested.

Cheers.
