A few years ago, I was glancing at another Bond site and saw a note abput an article concerning the reason Carole Bouquet wasn't involved with the FYEO publicity before and during the release of the film. Does anyone have any information on this?

I'm curious to know this myself, I didn't have access to the article. It was only mentioned on the front page of the site as part of an email newsletter or something. I think it was 007forever.com. I should have made it more clear in my initial post, sorry.

One of our staff members, mccartney007, actually owns that site so he may happen upon this thread.

You could send him a PM to bring this thread to his attention.

She's my all time favorite Bond girl; my first Bond I saw in a theater was FYEO.

Cool, thanks. I just wanted something a little different that would stand out. Mission accomplished, I guess. I also love the character of Melina, she kind of reminds me of a girl I had a crush on in school. Looks, of course. She didn't carry a crossbow or anything, though she was quite good with a violin.

Adobe Photoshop...

Just check the Image Size.. (at the top) put 50.. if it is not close on the height.. or width.. you use your crop tool.. then check if it is BOTH 50 X 50

50/50 is the key.. then just after it is that size..use your (sharpen tool).. then "save as copy".. save it as a JPEG

and your done!:)

Got the info, guys. Looks like Ms. Bouquet came down with a nasty case of movie star-itis and was left out of the publicity for the film.

I'm sure I heard this too....
"the actress was reportedly ostracized by UA following filming because of her uncooperative behavior. Besides falling asleep on the set, she gave an interview during production noting that Moore, at 53, was old enough to be her father not her lover. Hence she was not invited on the publicity functions"... an excerpt from Tom Soter's book published in 1993
Still I love her in the role as Melina, and on screen she looks great!

you know the funny thing is their on screen relationship kinda came off like that!.. I guess roger telling Be Be doll she was too young.. gave me the feeling with Melina too :)

Kinda funny that her true feelings can be sorta seen on screen :)

Well the wounds have obviously healed over time. On the "Inside For Your Eyes Only" documentary on the DVD Head of Marketing at UA Jerry Juroe (sp?) positively gushes about Carole Bouquet.
