At this point, we are not going to allow custom avatars because quite frankly we think the time it would take staff members to deal with another system is time that could be spent better working on other portions of this website. Yes, your avatar maybe a picture of yourself or your pet hamster, but if we allow custom avatars we’d have to allow them for everyone. This means that if someone wants a custom avatar with a picture of Pierce the staff would have to use its time tracking down the photo to make sure it is not a copyright picture. Eventually, we may add a system for avatars, but for now if you would like a personalised graphic please do it with the system we have in place for graphic signatures.
