A good couple of years after it was aired on TV, The James Bond Story has finally been released on DVD last Tuesday June 10.

It wasn't a bad doco, from what I remember, when it aired on the ABC a while back. Somewhat out-of-date though, as it only covers Dr. No to The World is not Enough.

I think i remember this documentary, and if its the one im thinking of it was quite good. but 28 dollars for a 53 min documentary is a rip-off, i didnt even pay that much for DAD.

I picked it up off eBay ages ago in Region 1 for $20. But it's a good documentry and not too bad at $28 for a Bond fan.

I agree. Hopefully it'll pop up on sale somewhere, otherwise I'm not that interested in getting it. The documentaries on the film DVDs cover pretty much everything.

AUS Dollars, remember, are worth very little. Do the math - or use the currency converter on the site.

AUS dollars are steadily increasing in value compared to US dollars.

But still, 28 australian Dollars is still alot.

i wouldn't even get it at half price.

Picked this up the other day.

I guess its biggest draw is interviews with all the Bond actors. How they managed to get Connery, I'll never know.

At an EzyDVD store.

Here's a link to Amazon, a little closer to home.

Yup. Only opened up recently. At Australia Fair [near the cinemas].

Fantastic little store. Things are occasionally cheaper in-store, plus you always get the little bonuses they often give away with major purchases.

I think this may be the same as a docu that I taped off the TV years ago. If so then I'll have to try and get this because that is a superb docu.

Probably. It was made around the time of the cinematic release of The World is not Enough.
