You should watch Live and Let Die, it's the best Bond film ever. As for the Harry Potter book, don't waste your money.

Just after 6pm here in LA....

The start of yet another "exciting" Friday night for Bryce...

Had a late lunch/early dinner with my broker...So that takes care of dinner...

Hmmm.

Yup, when all else fails....

*Bryce heads down to kitchen to mix a martini*

DAMN!....Out of lemons....

Hmmmm.

*Bryce opens up the infamous "single-malt vault*

Ahhh....Glenlivet 18!

*Bryce mixes a large scotch on plenty of rocks*

Much better!

I come from Scotland. I have no Whiskey. I think we have things the wrong way round here, Bryce.

Well I think I will have a large one the rocks too. Because, Mrs. Killkenny wants to know why I'm watching a movie I own. :)

Brix - I'm a scot as well. Family comes from the clan of Baird, the kilts in the closet, and....I almost need a refill.

Killkenny - help yourself. There is something cool about a Bond on TV every once in a while....Especially on a rainy night at home;)

Cheers Lads!

I should hope you don't wear skirts....and we'll leave the lingerie out of this....

To each their own;)

Pity you can't find a good glass of Scotch though.

The kilt is a rare form of attire though. There's a great book called "So you're going to wear the Kilt" which is written by the leading authority on Scottish wear. Some keen advice and great bits of history in there.

*Bryce raises drink in the direction of the UK*

Hoot man! Right Then;)

They are holding "Harry Potter" parties outside the book stores here in D.C. They have people all dressed up as wizards etc because the book goes on sale at midnight.

I've said it in these forums before, but even though I have all the movies on VHS, VCD, and now DVD, I still feel compelled to watch a Bond movie on TV when one comes around.

It's like the villain always wanting to tell Bond his evil plot. Sad isn't it?

Ahhh yes my feline friend. The "spill-the-beans" speeches are among the best.

"Now Mr. Bond, here's what I intend to do, how I intend to do it, my lair, my henchhmen, the femme fatale' that betrayed you and the self destruct button that will stop all of this. Any questions? Good. Now, if you don't mind, I'm going to place you alone, unsupervised and unsearched in an easily escapable situation involving an overly elaborate and exotic death. Goodnight."

Sorry to go a bit Austin Powers there, but hey...we all love and live for it.

One of my favorites is still OHMSS. Savalas just does it with such confidence and relish.

O.k. Bryce, get ready to laugh. Mrs. Killkenny wanted me to turn the movie off. Because, she needed me to drive her to B&N to get the new Potter book.

I agree about no one wanting to drive on nights like this...but alas, since we seem to be living in London now...we all bloody well learn how to drive in this weather. :)

Do me a favor KK...PM me and tell me who dies.
