The bit when Bond is snooping around Largo's residence at night. You know where he emerges from the underground hideout where Paula is discovered dead, right, he opens some inclined barn style doors, quite big and heavy. He lets them fall open without supporting them.
So wear's the sound of a big door being dropped back onto it's frame?
It's completely silent. Check your dvd's or viseos for this.

sometime the air pressure has the effect of buffering the thump sound. either that or the doors were hydraulicly supported.
btw, i went by that place when i went to nassau in 1999.
inspite of its 'errors', thunderball is a monster EPIC. the perfect bond adventure. my favourite.
