I was just wondering through all th various societies around, like the Prevention of Cruelty To Roger Moore and...the Pierce Brosnan one, if George had one to call his own?

If not, then could I start one? Could I be the president of it? And hold the Gavel at international meet ups where we gather to watch all the Lazenby movies?

I don't think there is already one for George Lazenby. If you really like him, you should start one.

Yep, that's what this thread's about. Where's an administrator when you need one?

You don't need an Administrators approval to establish a Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to George Lazenby.

Very well, I hereby proclaim the 'George Lazenby Appreciation Society' (GLAS) open to suggestion.

I am the president of this prestigious....by which I mean 'small' society and I need more people to do things...like preach...and so on. Maybe a bit of mob brutality? Who knows?

Please post if you wish to be a part of the society so I may approve your worthyness or lack thereof. And remember:

We do not tolerate failure...

All I ask is that you don't clog up your signatures with all of these needless 'societies,' one or two is fine, but when you're moving into five or six lines of text, it gets irritating to sift through post after post full of sigs.

We do appreciate them, just that we appreicate them in relatively small doses, capiche?

I'll join up. I think he's the 3rd Best Bond of all of them, so count me in.

I was thinking of starting a George society myself. I was going to call it ‘People for the Ethical Treatment of Lazenby’ or PETL for short.

I'll join as I defnitely want to persuade people that he's a great actor and OHMSS was a great film. He's defnitely one of the best, if not, the best James Bond.

I thought George was a great Bond. If people would just give him a half chance I think there would be many more fans. After all, he is in the greatest Bond film of all time.

Long Live Lazenby!

I thought OHMSS was a great Bond movie, but I'm not sure it was Lazenby that made it so...He was merely okay as 007.

I'm still waiting for the Lazenby and Dalton buddy movie. They can do one of those My Fellow Americans-type road movies like Jack Lemmon and James Garner did.

No Bond star is anyone's "bitch" but I like George a lot as Bond; if he had done a few more films he might have been a smashing success.OHMSS is a great film. He's my #3 007...
