Yippee! At last!!! Roger Moore has been awarded a knighthood in the Queen's birthday honours list. He will now be known as Sir Roger Moore.

About time too. He was a great Bond, made two classic TV series (The Saint and The Persuaders) and does a lot of work for UNICEF.

A far more deserving case than Sir Sean "wife-beating, United Kingdon-hating" Connery.

Well done Sir Roger. It's proper bo' I tell thee :)

I think Roger out of all these "actor" types that got the SIR title.. deserve it.. with all his help with poor kids!

here is a man that gets love and respect everyday...without press releaing it like a whore..

he does it for love!! not press!!

and it is nice to see without asking for it.. he gets some press and respect for his actions!!:cool:
