On the dvds what is everyones favorite commentary track? You can also list your least favorite too.

My favorite would be TSWLM. I haven't heard the ones for LALD or FYEO yet. One of the ones I was dissapointed in was Octopussy's. I like John Glen a lot but there were too many dead spots. I think they needed another person with him like Michael Wilson. The ultimate would be if Roger did one.

I liked the Tom Manckewicz track for LALD. I thought he was quite interesting and entertaining, it was also scene specific which I prefer. There was a point during the opening credits where Tom is quite clearly yawning???
I also really liked TSWLM (though why there is that long break I don't know) and the MR one. Both were screen specific and both featured a group of people chatting about the movie.

Moonraker is a good audio in particular the bitching between William Cartlidge and Christopher Wood! with Lewis Gilbert caught somewhere in the middle and trying to make light of their tiff. Though this audio can only be heard in region 2. Octopussy's I like as well - John Glen sounds a great guy and said some VERY interesting things in particular the bit about Maurice Binder. GoldenEye is one of the best as Martin Campbell was in very chatty mood and full of good humour and was obviously concious of the audio commentary and what would be expected. As I have region 1 dvd I havent heard TSWLM audio and some others.

Does anyone know why there is a break in the audio commentary of TSWLM.

Kingdom Come - If you liked "Moonraker", you will also like TSWLM. Much the same set up and participants (though if memory serves me right Chris Wood only joins in part way into the movie). It wouldn't surprise me if the participants recorded TSWLM commentary, took a short lunch break, and returned in the afternoon to do the commentary for MR.

I think Moonraker is the WORST commentary track! Having those 3 old guys trying to talk all at once.. then dead silence.. then one start talking and the other 2 cutting him off :)

I swear I wanted to throw my remote at the TV!!!

I never listen to the whole thing..

I was soooo pissed off hearing those 3.. blab on!! then say nothing.. then cut each other off.. was soooooo bad!

I think the DAD commentaries were too dry. I have always been partial to Mike Wilsons commentaries (but didn't like the DAD one). He was pretty good on the MR commentary track.

Watching it while drunk sounds like fun!

I don't think they ever asked Roger to do a commentary track. After all we know (from the DVDFile interview) that Pierce had never been asked to do a commentary before DAD.
