I would put his naval commander uniform from TSWLM at the top of my list.

I always liked in LALD when he wore that blue trench coat and leather gloves. I'm not sure if it would be considered action clothes but he did have one fight in them in the alley with Kananga's thugs.

Roger definetly had the coolest clothes.

1)Black shirt and trousers with brown leather holster from LALD.
2)Yellow Ski Suit from TSWLM.
3)Naval Commander Uniform in TSWLM

Maybe it's tooo 70's for most, but I'd kill for the safari style jacket from TMWTGG when he vists Lazar. Just too cool.

I love the light blue pants and jacket with the white undershirt from Live and Let Die. I don't know if it's considered "action clothes" though.

Action clothes -- interesting topic 4 Ur Eyez Only. I guess the outfit I would like the best would be the one in FYEO - Blue vest ,gray sweater and blue pants.

Though we must not forget the clown outfit (just kidding) :)

I think the clown suit was the best spy cover ever!! and showed roger was comforable in his own skin to do it!!!!! Great scene!!:)

but the more I think about it.. I love the LALD all black.. with the gun holster on the side.. which that new toy has.. very cool and you look like you mean business :)

I've always liked Roger's black-on-black in MR (the date with Corinne, plus the fight with Chang in Venice).

Of course, there's the traditional black suit at the end of TMWTGG, very sharp!

Black on black was certainly more practical than a suit for sneaking around at night.

Reminds me of "Ffolkes" (aka "North Sea Hijack") when he asks the people on the oil rig if he can borrow a wet suit so he can sneak onto the freighter -- and they bring him one in vermilion....too funny.

It's a really fun movie...Probably my favorite Roger Moore movie. I am looking forward to picking it up on DVD in August.

Let me know what you think about it.....I wish it would have been more successful because I guess the original plan was it was going to be the start of a franchise.

You know they filmed the scenes with the Margaret Thatcher look-a-like before Thatcher was actually elected Prime Minister, so that was quite a fortunate call on the part of the writers.

For some reason, his jungle outfit that he wore when infiltrating Octopussy's palace interests me. Very stylish and cool. Although like Bryce I'm also a fan of his TMWTGG safari jacket. I doubt anyone else could have worn it like Rog, and still maintained dignity.:) Still, I also think highly of any one of his naval uniforms.

I had a large action figure of Roger in his yellow ski suit, but my damn dog ate it and I haven't been able to find another one.
