Are most people re-purchasing these? All of them? Mine, being read, then re-read, then re-re---well, you get the picture, are in good shape, but the spines, well, y'know.
Hey, I'm not whipped or anything, but if my wife sees me come home with 14 (if they do them all) books that I already have, at 13 bucks a pop...well, you get the idea.
Wife: Don't you already have that one?
Me: Uh, this? Nooooooo, no, no, no. Octopussy? No, no, no, no. This is pørn. Yeah, don't worry, it's just pørn.
Yeah, that'll work.
Nevermind.

No, but I've been waiting to see them too. I have to Live and Let Die before I can start Moonraker, so I'm being tortored by this.

With less than a week to go, I can't believe we haven't see the cover art yet. At this point, I'll be happy to see the art when I get my books in the mail. I've got all three pre-ordered. As soon as I get 'em, I'll scan the covers and post them here.

I'm just annoyed that they are being released all out of order.

That's the "in" thing isn't it? The DVD's were released in no order whatsoever. Also the expanded scores weren't released in any semblance of order either. Perhaps it has something to do with peoples buying patterns. I really don't know the reasoning behind it.

Well, with the (US) DVDs it's simple. They have to be Brosnan heavy to sell. It's different with the movies, there really is little continuity, and variety is nice.
I don't care about the order of the DVDs (I already own DN-TWINE anyway, so...) but the books should be in order. The way I see it, they wanted to get the title 'Goldfinger' out there. That and 'Doctor No' since it was the first film. But i'd rather have waited for them to be released all at once. How long could it take to make cover art?
Only a few days until I can read Live and Let Die.
