Why has Roger Moore not become Sir Roger . He has since leaving Bonmd done some wonderful work towards world peace . Especially for children as part of UNCEF . Any one has a reason as to why not.

I think this has been discussed in several different threads, but the bottom line is, someone in the Prime Minister's office (PM of the UK that is), must put his name up, and no one has yet.

Write to you local MP and ask him/her to submit a request to the PM`s office asking that Rober Moore C.B.E to be considered for a Knighthood in either the Queens Birthday Honours or New Year Honours.
If the PM agrees then he will present the list to Her Majesty for Royal Ascent.
