Look in the DVD section for DAD on the main page. Can't recall if it's June or July, but we've got it down there.

Guys, I work in a store that sells high-end wristwatches and the Brand Manager for Omega heard mention that the DAD dvd was scheduled for release in Australia sometime NEXT MONTH!
Personally, I'll believe it when I see it...but you never know.
Seems a little too soon, though.

No way. Absolutely not.

The Brosnan DVD / VHS box sets state a June release date, which is consistant with what I've heard elsewhere.

Besides, those sets are official.

Next month'd be nice though! :)

Ours is about a month later than the rest of the world (Knock, knock, knock Mr Distributor: There is only a twelve hour time delay between our countries - not a month. And yes we have discovered the wheel down here too).

But

Can we order them in from Amazon.UK or somewhere like that? Will the DVDs from over there play? I have a temporary copy of the film from England and it plays fine, however I wouldn't know what technical specifications people who stand in the back of the cinema with a handycam use.

I am not a very technical type person but all this talk of regions made me get the impresion that if you take the DVDs outside territorial waters of their region they would explode or other such horrible stuff.

If you have a world region DVD player, you can get a UK DVD and play it in Australia no trouble.

You can also do the same with US R1 DVD's, as long as you have a more modern tv which can handle NTSC I'm told.

I know that I've never had any trouble with buying dvd's from the US or UK.

Okay, here's the news us Aussie fans have been waiting for.

The Die Another Day DVD will hit shelves over here June 4th, according to MichaelDVD, which is a reliable source when it comes to release dates.

It also lists a re-release of the Monster Collection for the same day. Expect the 21-disc set to set you back about $400.

You can get the R2 from May 3 apparently.

But will it work in an R4 machine? that's the question.

Get a multiregion player they say, solves your problems.
