Roger Moore will be decorated with the "Bundesverdienstkreuz" on February 10th by German president Johannes Rau.

The "Bundesverdienstkreuz" is one the highest medal Germany has to give. Roger Mooer will get a "First Class" version. But he won't be awarded for saving the world several times as James Bond 007, he'll get it for his UNICEF work.

The only source in English I could track down on this is Roger's official site:
http://www.adalarms....diary/diary.htm

those of you who speak German can check it out at http://de.news.yahoo...1/12/3906a.html

Congratulations, Mr. Moore.

You're right. I just put online the news in English on roger-moore.com
The ceremony will take place at Bellevue Palace in Berlin.
Please note Roger will be on stage with Hugh Grant to present the Standard Film Awards in London tonight.

Will place photos on next week.
