So I sent an enquiry to the new Ian Fleming Publications website and I actually got an answer (I sound surprised because I'm so use to being ignored by "Yarbrough" at the MGM official site). I asked which Fleming books would be released in the U.S. next, and here

I also received that same message today (except that instead of Dear Mr Cox, it says Dear Jesse Wheeler). That is exciting news and I cannot wait for them to be availiable

I also e-mailed them again today and asked if they will be re-releasing the Gardner books, and Colonel Sun

Upon hearing this news, I peed my pants with excitement, until I realized that I already had the British versions.

I asked them this as well. Good. Let's let them know that there's interest.

LOL. Well, it's the new artwork on these U.S. editions that I look forward to. The UK editions don't really do it for me.

Too bad, because if they did I've got a half a dozen books of abstract stock photography I could have sent you. :)

I too, have just sent an e-mail asking for the Amis/Gardner books.

But on the topic of the US/UK covers, I just might get both. This is why Canada is great. Oh, and the whole universal health care thing...

I think it's a good idea to get boths sets, seeing as they're so different.

Oh to have universal health care...

Good news yet it still dissapoints me that we have to get everything in increments over here in the states. Why can't we have a full DVD set or a full book set release like most everyone else gets?

No kidding...

But I guessed 'em right! I guessed that LALD, FYEO, and Thunderball would be the next released!

What about getting the original ones?

I hear there is a complete set of the original books going for around thirty thousand pounds.

I can't wait until these are relesed so I can finish reading the series. I only have seven Flemings right now. Is there any word that they will be released in Hardcover, as well as Paperback?

I've heard nothing about a US hardcover release, but I believe the new Fleming editions were all put out in hardcover in the UK.

Thanks, zencat! :) The paperbacks are nice as well. Another question, though, do you know if they will be released in a box set like they were in the UK? As some sort of collector's item or something.

That would be nice, but again, I've heard nothing.
