firebrickCourierlarge Hi all, Im new here, and I have a few questions about the PC version of Online Multiplayer.
1. Is it laggy on 56k?
2. Do alot of people play online , as of this moment?
3. Do you have to be a charactor from the movies, or can you be one of the generic type soldier guys from the game?
4. I would like to be a map maker when I get the game around X-Mas, For those 007 movie-based levels.

Thanks for the help guys!

Hello.

1. Is it laggy on 56k?

As with all games, Half-Life Excluded, the lag is dependent on the connection to and from the server you're attempting to login on.

I've seen some lag on some servers but usually when:

1) A player is connecting from a great distance.
2) The hosting server is on DSL.

2. Do alot of people play online , as of this moment?

Not as much as Counter-Strike but the numbers are increasing. I beleive this game was released in the last week or so in the US. You can almost always find a good game around the clock or host your own with bots.

3. Do you have to be a charactor from the movies, or can you be one of the generic type soldier guys from the game?

No. You can be whatever character you want to be. I like playing Odd Job because he throws his hat instead of Darts.

4. I would like to be a map maker when I get the game around X-Mas, For those 007 movie-based levels.

Heh, you're not the only one. I can't wait for the SDK:
