TWINE 64 reference in DAD (Spoiler-ish)

Did anyone else think that the VR training bit in Die Another Day was rather reminiscent of the King's Ransom level from TWINE 64? Specifically, the bit where M was being held hostage by the terrorist.

Actually, I noticed that too.:) I'm not sure if it was intentional, but it sure did remind me of that level from the game.

Speaking of that level, why the bloody hell did they use the Q from Never Say Never Again in the game?

Okay, I have a really embarrassing question: did Desmond Lewellyn actually pass away or did he simply retire?

Sadly, he died in a car accident a few weeks after the release of TWINE. :)
