Error on PS2 version of NightFire?

Hiya,

I'm playing on the PS2 with the PAL version of NightFire, but I think there may be a problem?

After I insert the disk and it loads, I am taken to an inital NightFire screen which reads "Press START Button". After I do this, it loads the first mission, Paris Prelude, instead of taking me to the NightFire menu. Is this normal? (i.e. has it happened with anyone else?)

No, it isn't a mistake. I rented the game myself (love it VERY much so far but the game is a tad short) and I had this same intro. I believe it is to get you familiar with the game. The game is like a movie. Pretitles, main song, the story itself.
