Ah yes...MGM media hype strikes again. Tell the American audiences they might get a Jinx movie so they will go see DAD to see if they like her.
Genius...simply genius.

Say you're making a Jinx movie, dissapoint half your fans. Come out and reveal that you're not making a Jinx movie, dissapoint the other half.
Are MGM really that stupid....I believe they are.

Stupid? Surely "cynical" would be a better way of putting it.
After all, this gossip about a Jinx movie/franchise has got people talking about, and hopefully snookered more people into seeing, DIE ANOTHER DAY. Mission accomplished.

It's sad if the greatest film franchise ever has to resort to making up codswallop about a secondary character getting her own film. You'd think MGM would realise people would go to see DAD for Bond, not Jinx.
However this is just another marketing ploy, for you see, films are no longer art-pieces like novels and photos and paintings are, rather, they have been reduced--by capitalism (which has been saved multiple times by Bond)--to mere titles beside which accountants can put numbers and therefore proclaim 'We made the best film!', rather than the truth: 'We made the best adverts!'
