Or she could be helping neither.  While it's probable that Waltz is playing Blofeld in the film, it could end up being that he's just playing Oberhauser, who could be on anyone's side for all we know.

While I'm positive Oberhauser is Blofeld, nothing has been confirmed. Although, I think it's pretty clear Oberhauser is the villain.

She's simply breathtakingly beautiful and sexy even at 50, and I am glad she's in the film. She gots the looks and more importantly she knows how to act. I prefer the "Bond Girls" to clearly adult women, not almost barely past teenage bimbos. I'm not referring only to mere age though.

Yes, I agree. Looking back at past Craig outings, I'd like to think Monica gets more to do than Solange, Fields and Severine. She deserves more than that, in my opinion.

I think we can throw Corrinne in there as well as Stana Katic is a terrific actress and incredibly sexy (although she's much more famous after Quantum of Solace as her 35 seconds as Corrinne are what won her her role on Castle). But Caterina Murino, Gemma Arterton and Bérénice Marlohe all deserved far more screen time. I hope both Monica and Léa get their fair share of time on screen.

I'd agree on Stana Katic.  Definitely underused in Quantum of Solace, but it wasn't that film that won her the job on Castle.  She was already cast in Castle as of August of 2008, roughly three months before Quantum of Solace premiered.

I think you're right.  They cast a 50 year old in a bit of history, and then sabotage the event by making her a 'lesbian baddie.'  But what a great twist if the young blonde was the bad one--beware the millenials, James!

Oh, you're not. Would be a most welcome change of pace, from what audiences would usually expect from Hollywood.

 

Any Monica Bellucci is good as far as I am concerned.
