It would be cool to see him. He doesn't have to have a lot of lines for it to be cool. Just have him around and backing up Bond. They really didn't spend much time becoming friends in CR or QOS. I just love the shot in Thunderball of him in the background outside the casino in sunglasses. He can be there without taking up a lot of time.
Felix?

I wouldn't mind for a brief appearance of Felix but I'd rather have Charles Robinson back.

Asked if there's any chance he'll be in Bond 24, Jeffrey Wright says: "No."

Well, that's a shame. I would have thought that Felix would make a return in Bond 24 so that they could continue to develop his friendship with Bond. Instead I guess we'll get more development of the annoying Eve Moneypenny and the incompetent Q.

Man... this upsets me. He was close to becoming my favorite Felix. Shame

At this point, it's because he's busy and/or Felix wasn't written into this one. Once the last "Hunger Games" movie is released, we may yet get him back for Bond 25.

I don't often agree with you, but here you've summed up my own thoughts.

I completely agree. I'd much rather see Felix return than Moneypenny and Q.

Yeah, I've been hoping Jeffrey Wright's Felix would reappear soon. Very sad that he probably won't be in Bond 24, but from the look of the shooting locations it seems to be an entirely European adventure - so Felix's presence would be a little forced. Really hope he's in Bond 25.
That said, we can never be sure if he'll turn up for a cameo. They might be avoiding including the character in case his presence gives away any Blofeld/Quantum surprises in store.

I agree with the above users. In Fleming novels, Moneypenny and Q had some occasional appearences, whereas Felix had a much more important role.

Er, in Fleming's novels, Q didn't have ANY appearances. He got mentioned twice. That's it.

My bad, I thought he appeared in the beginning of Dr. No. Not only that, but Q is the name of the section rather than the person.
That makes my point even stronger.

Craig's first Bond film had a mostly European background - Bahamas & Miami International Airport excepted - and Felix Leiter didn't put in an appearance until the casino scenes in Montenegro, so a return in another mostly European movie wouldn't be forced at all, provided he's relevant to the plot. (And didn't it say somewhere else on the site that filming would also take place in Mexico?)
I agree with others here, it's a shame Jeffrey Wright isn't making a comeback in Bond 24. Perhaps an appearance in Craig's final film instead?

I'd take a cameo appearance in the PTS if it indeed is located in Mexico (Felix is working in South America, if you recall). Just give me anything!

Yes I'd like to see him back in Bond 25, and if it was set mostly in Brazil, like my suggestion in another thread, he could be the liaison point in Rio.

Afraid so, and Jeffrey Wright said he wouldn't be.

I might be alone, but I don't think he needs to be in one for a while. Maybe only if they are set in USA.
I somewhat agree. Felix is great and adds to the films, but to be fair, he's been in half of Craig's films already.
His character was left in a good place at the end of Quantum of Solace and that's probably where he should stay (for now).

I didn't miss Felix in 'Skyfall', or in the cast reveal....so to me, Felix doesn't need to be in 'Spectre' unless Bond goes to America for any reason.
