I recently started a thread wondering if one was to assemble a CD collection of the music that one associated with Sean Connery (movie and life in general related) what would be on it.

I am going to do the same here for George Lazenby. What music would be the soundtrack of his life?

I would include the Bond theme as it appears in OHMSS, "All The Time In The World," and "Time of Your Life" by Green Day, just for the irony of it.

This doesn't count as a soundtrack, but I just thought of the line from On The Waterfront.

I coulda been a contender. I coulda been somebody.

IrishCrown...if someone turned "On the Waterfront" into the musical...that would count!

LOL!

How about Do You Know How Christmas Trees Are Grown? It's a song I like to play around Christmas time. It ranks up ther with the Dogs barking to Jingle Bells.

I love the song "Do You Know How Christmas Trees Are Grown," and yes, I would include that too.

How about Bob Dylan's "Stuck in the Middle with You" as a reference to have his movie in between two of Connery's.

The OHMSS theme I think would also be appropriate, as this is what he probably is most associated with.

What about "Chapel Of Love" by the Dixie Cups?

"Bells will ring
The sun will shine
I'll be his and
He'll be mine
We'll love until
The end of time"

But maybe this is too cynical...

Actually, that song is by The Wallflowers.

How about - strictly on the basis of titles -

John Mellencamp - Life Goes On
Or, to be cruel: Toni Braxton - He Wasn't Man Enough :)

The title song from "The Man From Hong Kong" (a guilty pleasure of mine) in which George played Wilton the villain might be particularly appropriate.

"Stop. You've blown it all sky high,
Tell me the reason why..."
