After talking about some non-Bond related games and what not in the 007 Legends thread, decided to make a thread for all video game discussions.

Discuss Away!

Currently playing Call Of Duty: Black Ops II.

I am currently playing the Ghostbusters game, but I am stuck on the second mission so that doesn't help... :/

I'm right at the end of Bioshock Iceskater, and it's bloody hard!

I'm dressed as a Big Daddy and protecting Little Sisters but i'm getting killed so many times by turrets and splicers! Low on health, low on eve...i just want to complete it so i can move on to Bioshock 2!

haha if you need some tips I can definitely provide you some! Are you on hard mode too? I am actually stuck on the hard boss battle at the end so I haven't actually unlocked that achievement yet.

Good work Ace! A new home! :)

Well, as a blurt out my favourite 5 video games ever consist of:
  • The Secret Of Monkey Island
  • Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis
  • GoldenEye 007
  • Assassins Creed II
  • Theme Park
Currently, I've just done '007 Legends', thankfully, now I either wait until Christmas to see if I get 'Assassins Creed III' or start on 'BatMan: Arkham City' that I've got ready.

Some great games out there, but also games of the past that I hope one day will be brought back for the masses! :D

To my shame i'm on normal mode :/ Perhaps i need to take a different approach. It's those goddamn flying auto-bot things that piss me off. Maybe i should put the difficulty down...

I would try hacking the bots, that seemed to work out for me, that way if other bots came at me those bots would take them out for me.

Yeah no problem! It is a breeze if you hack everything that you can find. It helps you later, plus if you are low on eve and you hack vending machines, you get things for less priced.

I still want Hitman for christmas though, it looks like a fun game. Here is a video of Conan O'brien reviewing Hitman Absolution, it's pretty funny.

I've been going through a retro game phase lately. Just finished Medal of Honor: Allied Assault for the first time in a few years and I must say it is much better than most of the crap that comes out today. I also recently beat Call of Duty: World at War on veteran. Now that was a test in patience.

New trailer for South Park: The Stick of Truth. This game looks like it's going to be pretty epic. Matt and Trey are geniuses.

There's quite a fun little South Park game on Xbox Live at the moment, some sort of tower defence game.

Nothing exciting me recently on the games front, except holding out for 'Assassins Creed III' and maybe 'Hitman: Absolution' in the New Year.

Not a fan of the 'Assassin's Creed' games. I find them boring and overrated. As I've stated before, 'Hitman: Absolution' is a masterpiece.

Other than that. Half way through the campaign for 'Call Of Duty: Black Ops II' on Veteran. Working on getting all the achievements for that game. Played Survival mode on Zombies a day or two ago and got to Round 19 by myself. Probably be playing it tomorrow night with the guys.

I'll play AC3 eventually. I also want to pick up Hitman Absolution, I do think it looks very good. The only other two games that interest me right now are South Park: The Stick of Truth and The Last of Us.

South Park looks like it will be super funny! I really want Bioshock Infinite and there is this awesome fighting game coming out next year called Injustice Gods Among Us and it looks really cool. You should look up a trailer for it.

Just finished Medal of Honor Warfighter. Honestly, I didn't think it was anywhere near as bad as the reviewers made it out to be.

If you're in the UK, 'Hitman Absolution' is currenlty £19.99 in some high street stores and Amazon.co.uk - better chance than ever to get it dirt cheap!!

Agreed on that one. It seems to be getting far more effort than 007L got...

Ah okay thanks! and yeah I think the Star trek game will be good because this isn't some bad tie-in game. They have been working on this game for one or two years now, so I think they put a lot of time and effort into it.

Also figured I should post this because this always happens when shootings happen.

Yea, I read about that. It's sad that the NRA has to resort to blaming video games. There are no studies out there that show that violent media as any effect on whether people commit violence. It's true that guns don't kill people, people kill people. But what are people using to kill people? GUNS. Sorry, had to get that out there. Back to the topic.

Replaying the God of War series right now. I forgot how much I loved it ;).
