Quite an interesting list - surprised 'Another Way To Die' is in their Top 5 and 'A View To A Kill' isn't...

..but I guess it's another of their 'own opinions' list!

Phew.

Of course, I respect everybody´s opinion. But that poor excuse for a website journalist really argues on the level of a 12 year old.

"Nobody does it better" - "that song is not cool"?

C´mon, you don´t what cool really is, Mister...

Woah another way to die for quantum of solace is on the top 5 best... What? Nobody Does it Better is ranked the worst. I have no respect for this writer.

Who put that list together, the writer's mom? Had the writer even seen a OO7 movie? I enjoy a good debate, even a heated one, but I am loathe to be put in the position of having to argue with a moron.

You CAN'T Count the JAMES BOND THEME from Dr. No? Really??? Gee, next to the theme to THE GODFATHER and the theme from JAWS, it's probably the most recognized piece of music in cinematic history.

I knew this article was a hatchet piece, and not a thorough examination of facts the minute I saw the opening scene from FYEO as substantiation for LALD being put on the worst list.

Moreover, Both Marvin Hamlish (TSWLM) and Bill Conti (FYEO) were respectively nominated for Grammies.

A-ha???? Wh... wha...what?????? I believe those 3 guys from Sweden... Norway... wherever, were hired to capitalize on the momentum created by Duran Duran in 1985. What have they done since?

I do agree with the writer on 3 points however:
1) FRWL stands out as one the most prolific OO7 themes of all time.
2) All Time High seemed to be ill chosen at the last minute because John Barry admitted, sadly that he could NOT come up with ANYTHING to go along with OP's title.
3) Die Another Day is Just AWFUL (Another Way to Die is right behind it.)

I have 2 questions for this writer..........

1) Why wasn't Louie Armstrong's love theme from OHMSS considered for the best list?
2) And more importantly.... Why was nothing from Shirley Bassey chosen as well (I mean she's the ONLY artist who did 3)?

He had DAF on the list, which is one of my absolute favorite songs and the ONLY THING I agreed with him on. Otherwise, this list is a complete sham. LALD not cool? Nobody does it better not cool? No sex appeal in FYEO? But wait, AWTD is one of the best? Yea, step aside hack and let the real Bond fans evaluate these things.
