So far I've only seen character type of posters (white background) and the gun barrel teaser poster with Daniel Craig approaching. They all looked like teaser posters. None of them look like a final poster.

When are we going to see a final traditional Bond movie poster for SKYFALL? Oct 5 perhaps?

My guess is that we'll get a final poster on Global Bond Day. It seems fitting. I agree with you, nothing that's been released so far has felt like 'the final one'.

Hopefully it will be the 5th, yet something says seeing as the Adele theme will be released (officially) that same day, they may hold off.

Wouldn't want to step on anybody's toes after all...

I'm guessing they might release the poster on Global James Bond Day or not very long afterwards. Since the film is so close to release, the poster should be appearing sometime soon...I hope!

I certainly hope that there will be another poster. The ones that EON/Sony have released so far have been amongst the worst of the entire franchise, so I'd hope to see them try to come up with something better before the promotional campaign comes to a close.

Someone involved with the marketing told me there will be a final poster coming.

Certianly hope to see a fantastic final poster on Global James Bond Day tomorrow.

They do need a great image to jazz up the occassion and for the media something new & exciting to post on all the movie news websites.

I can't see them just showing the previously seen posters on such an important day.

Yes, my instinct tells me there will be a final poster tomorrow.

Nothing? Hmmm. Looks like we have got the final trailer and poster then. Shame. Very disappointing, too.

I've mostly stayed mum on this topic, considering how much vitriol the posters are receiving But I really don't have an issue with them, they could be better though. I think the teaser with Daniel and the gunbarrel is the best of the lot, so far.

At this point I'm not sure what they could do to please so many disappointed people.

I can see where you're coming from, but none of the posters so far have felt 'final'. They've all just felt like a wide range of teaser posters. I was hoping for a Bond and M poster, looking over Scotland, M looking stern, Bond with the shotgun, the lodge in the background with a caption saying 'Think on your sins.'

That would have some sense of finality about the teaser campaign. Even though, I can deal with the posters being the weakest aspect about the film itself.

I wasn't trying to imply we were done with the posters. I certainly hope their is a more engaging final poster. Bond laying down and firing his gone is a pretty poor final poster, if it were, the final one that is.

I do miss the colorful montage posters of the 60s and 70s.

I know you weren't my friend. I completely agree with you. I'd love a final trailer and poster, but since we're what? 17 days away from UK release? There's not much to gain, really. The publicity campaign is nearly over. Although, I assume the US might get some final goodies.

If there isn't going to be another poster, then which of them is to be regarded as "official"? Which will appear on the DVD cover? None of them really looks like a film poster at all.

I suppose I never consider that. For me the film is still about five weeks away. But you guys only have to wait three. Even though I won't be able to see it when you guys do, reading your reviews is something I'm really looking forward to.

If it's going to be one of the posters we've already seen then I hope it's the one of Craig walking down the gunbarrel. It's not great but best of a poor crop. Also perhaps noteworthy that it's being used for the soundtrack cover.

I am sure the one with craig walking down the gunbarell will be the final poster used in the Blu-ray.but its realy sad that these poster makes the movie feel as if it doesen't have a soul

I mean for QOS we had the beautifull dessert background , for Casino Royale we had the killer background with Bond's walther on the table. These ones are just sad

Exactly. They lack the ability to convey a specific mood, an overall vibe for the movie. They're effective, but bland. We know it's Bond (as if we didn't supect already!), but that's pretty much it.

We’ve not seen Skyfall yet, perhaps these posters do, “convey a specific mood, an overall vibe for the movie”
But that would make Skyfall bland, amateurish, uninspired, shallow and boring.

PS. I don’t think this will actually be the case, I’m just illustrating the disservice this artwork is doing.

I would be/am shocked that these are the final posters but it is looking like they are. Of the two I would say the lying down version is easily the unique one. The gun barrel not only looks like fan art but it looks like something we could have already seen before. The lying down version isn't much better...but its better. At least its white.

There has to be a final poster of some sort, if only to advertise Adele's involvement.

Whether that is a second printing with her name added, I am not sure but I cannot remember offhand if there have been any final posters Without the song artist's name. Of course, further printings of what has already gone before is done to add ratings. No design change, just a PG.

I was hoping for, dare I say, a bit of a noisy one just to throw caution to the wind after the restrained teaser/character posters. Like 'The Living Daylights' or even 'Die Another Day', just one that throws in a montage of some action or the characters and nice bold shot of Bond in all his glory for a final big annoncement that Bond Is Back!

Doesn't look like it though now at this stage, which is a shame!

A final poster should have an Image of either the London Underground with Bond in front or with Bond standing in front of Skyfall something Unique that sets it appart ,something that gives it an identity

I've been checking every morning since Bond Day for a new poster, rather disappointing there hasn't been one IMO.

Quite possibly the worst print campaign for a Bond film since LTK.

However, like LTK, the trailers have been quite good. Funny that.

I cant get my head around them OK'ing such terrible posters. They've gotten so much else right with this film.
