That last bit sounded like something Sir Roger would say, and he would be praised for it.

It starts with Daniel Craig walking along a train station, being followed by some men, with the classic Bond music playing in the background. He bumps into an average looking man, who happens to be wearing the same outfit as him. Bond disappears and the men following him start running toward the man, thinking he's Bond. The man jumps on a nearby train to elude them.
The rest of the commercial is him going through a couple different cars on the train, with weird things happening in each car. At one point he passes a room in which Dr. No is being offered a Heineken- the waiter asks "Dr?" and he says "No," then grabs the Heineken off the tray. One of the cars was covered in ice and the main guy slid through it- I thought this might have been a reference to Die Another Day, and another of the cars featured some classic looking Russians trying to build a house of cards, and this might have been a reference to GoldenEye.
At the end of the commercial the main character runs into Bond and an attractive woman at a bar. Bond offers the main guy a Heineken then disappears, and the woman nudges a briefcase toward the main guy as the villains burst into the room. The next shot is of Bond parachuting off of the train.
Nothing seemingly overly connected to Skyfall that I could tell. The attractive woman might have been part of the cast, but I didn't recognize her. Overall a fun piece of marketing and better than I thought Heineken was going to do when they invested in Bond.

A Bond Twitter fan, taking part in a Heineken customer survey response has reportedly seen the new Heineken advert - @Colasante has posted his breakdown of it, and it sounds this is the real deal from his desciption...

If true, has a nice sound to it. I'm wondering what will strike a bigger chord, this or the Olympics opening featuring Bond himself.
Either way, great promotional material....

The marketing drive begins next month (September 29) when the brewer debuts its Skyfall spot, the latest instalment in the brewer’s ‘Legends’ series.
It will feature Daniel Craig’s James Bond as Heineken’s ‘Man of the World’ character and marks the first time that the spy will appear in the brand’s advertising since it signed as a sponsor of the franchise in 1997. The spot will be supported by Facebook and Google activity as well as an on-pack competition which fans can enter for a “1 in 007” chance to win Skyfall tickets. That effort will include Bond-theme promotional packaging on 12-, 18- and 24-packs of Heineken beer. The brewer will also roll out promotions in pubs and clubs over the next several weeks as part of the push.
Heineken says the move marks “phase one” of the “biggest ever 007 activation” in its 15 year association with the series and adds that its main is aim to drive incremental sales of the beer leading up to the film’s release. It is likely to follow the initial burst of marketing with further activity on its Facebook page as well as promotions around the film’s home release early next year. The brewer first revealed details of the tie-up, which will also see Bond drink the beer during the film, earlier this year when it said the sponsorship push would act as the next part of its ‘Open Your World’ campaign.
Heineken is also planning to roll out further activity later this year as part of the franchise’s 50thyear anniversary celebrations.

There's also a photo of upcoming TV-spot that apparently starts on Sep 20th. Take at a look at those Zorin boxes:

Spot the homages! 'Dr.No'...'GoldenEye....'The Spy Who Loved Me'...'A View To A Kill'.... great idea! Have to say that tune being played is very catchy too, whoever is singing it.
Brilliant ad, and love the involvement from Craig and Marlohe (who is still the most beautiful creature on land).

Makes me want to see him do an icy Bond flick, though.

I may be talking rubbish, but when I saw the train carriage decked out almost like Trevelyan's train in 'GoldenEye', and that Russian music... that's what made me think it was a wink at that. I could be wrong, but I don't know...!

Cool to see Craig himself in this ad, but I think it's a cluster .
Agreed. The narrative is almost completely lost by times. And why does he have magic skills re: house of cards, let alone the apparent time to stop and build it?
Am I overthinking this?

Yes!
We should probably start listing the references to Bond films that the advert crams in. Here's four to start:
The Zorin boxes - AVTAK
The 'ice' carriage - DAD
The 'control room' carriage - Trevelyan's train in GE
Dr. No - erm, Dr. No.

It's hard to beat that lovely Sony one from last time, of course.
