How appropriate to have, the day after SkyFall is announced, the birthday of the Maestro himself. He would've been 78 today, and I hope he'd be happy with the series he helped cement in cinema history with his iconic scores.

The word genius gets thrown around too readily these days, but that's what Barry was. A genius.
