Yeah, I joined that, Righty. But that's a group. I'm finding Fan Pages attract more attention. I've stop updating my YB and HH groups and have moved everything to Fan Pages.

I would rather join a group entitled ' John Edmund Gardner (1926-2007)'.
A fan page would be in poor taste. It basically looks like you're becoming a fan of the fact he's dead.
As for his life and works though, a fan page would be more appropriate.
