I'm sure this topic will provoke a number of grunts and groans from my mi6 brethren who are sick to death of games from that forum. Nonetheless, in the name of science I am curious to see what sort of result can be obtained here, so here it goes. The way this works is simple-- each film starts off with 5 points, and each day you are allowed to add and subtract 1 point to and from the films of your choice. Once a film hits zero, it's out. Again, you are allowed one vote per 24 hour period. Have fun!

See? Add 1 and take away 1. Not add 2 and take away 2.

Problem is, people - including myself - read the first post to get instructions, then post(ed) a reply with their choices. I followed the instructions that were in the first post, which stated that we get 1 point to and from a film per day, and then to "have fun." Then, further down the line (3 days later), the instructions changed to two points . . . as well as having to vote off the previous poster's choices . . . Nothing against the person who started the post, but the "rules" were never posted clearly - hence all the issues. People are following the posted "rules": 1 point to, 1 point from, any movie of his/her choice.

If the first post can still be edited, maybe the person who started this thread should edit it to reflect the current rules? I don't know.

I do know that it's waaaay too soon for LALD to be out of the running. WTF, man? TMWTGG is okay, but not LALD? Goldeneye over LALD? Has the world gone mad?
