Hey everyone, it's been a long time since my last post here, but I wanted to update everyone on what's been going on at MADD Studios.
I'm well into production on my newest film, which is a James Bond fan film titled 'Rendezvous.' The film is a reimagination of the world of Bond, presenting as much of the literary character as possible in a dark, neo-noir vision that draws from the famous film-noir detective flics from the 50s and 60s. I think Fleming had the imagery of these movies in mind when he wrote the books and that's something I'm hoping to show everyone.
I don't always get to update my posts here, so if you would like, you can follow me on my Facebook Group.
You can also view the rest of my videos and films at my YouTube channel.
My newest production blog can be found here.
More to come. Thanks guys.

PRODUCTION BLOG 2
-The script
Since I'm off from college, shooting is on a break, and so we'll spend the haitus examining the history of Rendezvous and I'll show you how the script evolved as well as how we got the idea to make the film into a film-noir presentation of James Bond.
This is Part 1 of a 2-part presentation. This time, we'll look at the script.
Look for Part 2 out Christmas Day.

PRODUCTION BLOG 3
-The Vision
This is the second half of a 2-part blog looking at the creation of the film as a whole. Last time, we looked at how the script developed and now we will show you what the idea was for presenting James Bond in a dark, film-noir world and how we're able to accomplish that.
This blog also contains a small Christmas surprise.
Most of the music in this blog (and in Blog 2) is the work of the talented Rich Douglas, a professional composer whose work includes several popular videogames.
This blog also features an excerpt from Michael Dougherty's highly enjoyable audio dramatization of Ian Fleming's "Casino Royale."
