I too will be remembering, my grandfather was in both WWII and Korea...he just passed away on Friday at age 82.

Yes, unsung heroes both men and women alike. Whenever I see them on Remembrance Sunday (Armistice Day)in the UK, they get less and less each year. I remember seeing an old soldier in a shop once many years ago, he wore his medals on his coat. I said "thank you" to him. He looked a bit shocked actually but then he realized what is was for.
You know what his reply was to me?
"I would do it all again for not one thank you". Remarkable man.
