Now on the CBn main page...

12-18 July tour cruise hosted by ThemePartyPeople.com

I'm really not sure if this interests anyone or if there is any feedback on past events, but I am intrigued:

http://www.themepart...vel/LTK2009.htm

What really interests me is the group tour of Goldeneye...nothing like a boat-load of Bond fans descending on our "Mecca"...otherwise off-limits. Could be fun...

Any thoughts?

I am booked on this already, as I have done their 070707 Cruise and the event is run by two dear friends of mine. It is guaranteed to be a great time.

North Scorpion, thank you for your post. I am the organizer for the Licence to Kill 2009 Bond tour and in the past, we have descended (!) on the Bond suite at the One and Only Club and Palymyra in Nassau too. I can safely say that the respect for the film locations when we go on private property is indicative of the passion that Bond agents bring. More importantly, we continue the work of capturing the quickly disapearing sites with writers and photographers that report on the locations. And, of course, it's a good time for Vespers, film viewing and good Rocky Patel afterwards. Thanks for reporting the tour in CBn.!

I'm just surprised that I had to be the one to mention this event on CBn. And the fact it made it to the CBn Main Page!

With the unfortunate postponement of DTBB, I was checking my sources and discovered this potential gem. I definitely love the idea of visiting not only LTK sites in Key West with Bond fans, but the tour to Goldeneye in Jamaica is the real delight...let's hope things can come together to make this a reality for me.

I attended the BCW9 cruise to Nassau and BCW8 in NYC (where I met Mr. Stroud going to the UN on the bus!) and so I am curious about another Bond event for fans.

One question: What the heck is a SpectreClub and where does one purchase one? B)

Thanks for joining orlandobond...what took you so long...

Sorry Scorpion North, was delayed in North Korea for a year so had to delay entering the Forum. The tours build from word of mouth..it's not a tour per se..more a gathering of Bond agents villians and ner'do wells who quickly become friends and enjoy sharing the Bond experience together... SpectreClub...is SpectreClub, it comes with the experience of being entertained on the Disco Volante by Number One. Once in, you cannot leave or let someone get the better of you.

Yes, North Scorp, I remmeber meeting you in NYC. If you can do this event, I'd strongly encourage to you and anyone else interested.

As for not sharing sooner, would you like Section 26, Paragraph 5 as the explanation or quite candidly, it was not my place to do so and OrlandoBond, at the time, was not publicizing it via Cbn or MI6 as he was working via the usual word-of-mouth network that saw 40 of us on a similar cruise as mentioned for July 7, 2007, or as we referred it: 070707.

That year--highlights were the Bond locales of Nassau--Rock Point (Palmyra, Ocean Club, and many other TB and CR locales). In addition, we had out share of themed ship-board fun as well as having a grand time at the other ports of call, including a GF tour pre-cruise while meeting up in Miami.

If I can pry Mrs D07 away from the kids for a week this might be doable...

Still working on Mrs D07, but she seems interested in taking 3 kids, which would be a killer price-wise. I was hoping to sell her on the 2nd honeymoooooon angle, but there is too much Bond on the agenda for her to believe that line!

The longer I thought about this tour the more I hated the idea of missing it. I couldn't pry my wife away from the kids, so the whole D07 clan will join the invasion of Key West and Jamaican Bond locations.

Looking forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones!

Wow sounds fantastic! I'm quite sure those of you attending are going to have a blast! I did the whole Licence to Kill Tour of Key West in 2004. Great stuff.

A little too pricey for me right now as I'm saving up for a number of things so I'll just go see Duran Duran in concert instead during that time and we'll have to swap pictures. B)

With his training I can only imagine what happened to the jailer! With 006 onboard I know this mission will be a success.

They may have to close the Caribbean for a thorough scrubbing after we finish with it, though... B)

Somehow, scuba diving now sounds a little less appealing to me.

Just keep your mouthpiece in and don't think about what Jeff007 may have been doing off by himself!

Some of the best SCUBA diving I've done is in the Caymans, so it will be a great experience. The water temp should be great in July as well.

We dove Caymans on our last trip there..very good sites. We have a good number of divers coming so we should check to see who's in for this mission.
