Are there any deleted scenes or an alternate ending? Because I'm wondering if the 2 disc edition is worth buying. Most likely yes, but I'd like to hear other's opinions.

Sucks that the current edition doesn't have the alternate ending, deleted scenes etc.
I know that they did the same thing with CR, but that's ing cheap of MGM or Sony whatever because honestly i'm not sure i can wait that long for the better edition.

The extra features on this DVD are borderline insulting, just some uninspired features on loactions and some presentations of the crew that defines the word "boring". Barely a word about the story and such. Even the extras on the first CR DVD was miles ahead of this, at least they bothered to include some decent documentaries on that one.

Neither the CR or QOS DVDs have commentary tracks by cast and crew members. I would have to contribute this to Sony, because the TWINE and DAD DVDs did have commentaries, both of which I purchased outside of the box sets, and both issued by a stand-alone MGM prior to the Sony aquisition. Sony went and cheapened the content.

That's still up the in air actually. There was a recent interview with Marc Forster in which he stated that they were debating whether or not to include them. It's not official yet as whether or not we will get them.

I remember Forster mentioning a commentary and more 'in-depth' featurettes. How good will they be I obviously haven't a clue. But there is more behind the scenes material for us to see.
