I've had this in my mind for quite some time. So last night, I decided to make an On Her Majesty's Secret Service, Quantum of Solace Style Trailer. Using the Theatrical Trailer music.

This is what I came up with, I hope you enjoy. :(

Hey, you stole my idea! I was planning on doing something like that... :(

By the way, which trailer is it that features flashback footage of Vesper? :)

It is the teaser trailer that has the flashback footage.

Good grief, that's amazing. It's easily the best fan-made Bond thing I've ever seen. Looks really professional. I'm actually pretty stunned, especially as it would appear that you were able to do it in an evening.

How do you do this? Are you a film editor or film student? Do you have professional editing gear? Or do you use software that can be downloaded from the net? Can anyone do it? Regardless, though, the choices you made are really quite awesome. Like I say, extremely impressive and professional-seeming.

Yes very well done. I'm also now just realizing that QOS and OHMSS have something interesting in common, the first time we see Bond in both films is in a car, with his face partially hidden. Coincidence?

Believe it or not Loomis, but I used Window Movie Maker and I'm just a normal student, but I do take Media Studies. :)

Sadly, that's the last video you will see from me in a while. Since my laptop is crashing all of the time. Yesterday afternoon I made crossover video of Doctor Who and Torchwood, from Torchwoods perspective. Using the episode 'End Of Days' from TW and 'Utopia' from Who. As both episodes run into eachother. (Jack hearing the TARDIS at the end of series 1. and Jack running to the TARDIS in Utopia) Alas, the damn thing won't save to my computer.

Windows Movie Maker, eh? I'll have to have a play around with it. In fact, I think I've got it anyway, but it's something I've never even looked at.

Anyway, regardless of whether the technology is readily available and easy to use, I still think you did a brilliant job, because of the choices you made. Your trailer tells a story, whets the appetite, and your selection of clips is dead-on, as is what you do with them. Like I say, really outstanding stuff, and I'd easily believe it was a professional trailer, except that professional trailers aren't usually this imaginative and this cool. Well done.

It's too bad we won't see anymore vids from in for while. This OHMSS trailer is probably your best work yet! :( (On this new account).

Awesome trailer Mharkin! Im one of those people who don't think much of OHMSS (i think i've only seen it twice) but i think i'll give it another watch now!
Very professional looking too.
It makes my Smallville fan made trailers look like child's play. Question though: did you get the OHMSS footage from your dvd of the film? Or did you use a torrent version of OHMSS?
