I remember hearing somewhere about other women being auditioned for the Bond girl roles, but I can't remember their names. Does anyone else know who else tried out for the parts? I apologize if this thread has been discussed already.

If you're referring to the likes of Shilpa Shetty, actors who were associated with the lead role in the tabloids, they never auditioned. They were just leeching off the franchise's name and reputation i order to get a bit of free publictity for themselves.
