As much as I'm looking forward to whatever 007-related writings Charlie Higson has in store for us in the future, I have to say I'm pretty excited about his non-Bond series. No name yet, but the premise sounds great.

zencat's website notes that the first is due for release in September 2009 (maintaining a similar timeline as his Young Bond books). I can't wait to pick it up alongside next year's reissues of Charlie's adult thrillers.

I haven't had any interest in reading other continuation authors' non-Bond output (Fleming aside); testament to Higson's great storytelling ability.
