Unless you like to stay spoiler free, there's always the news and updates from what's going on in the production to look forward to.

But the good news is...that $67M opening weekend will give the studio incentive to crank it out in 2 years.

I've read alot of sources that either say 2010 or 2011 will be the release date for Bond 23....personally if its the latter,
then I think I'll lose my patience and possibly mind
Bad one, dude.
I don't really know what to suggest. This is the first time I've encountered this kind of problem.
Yeah.
Sorry, man. Bummer, I know, but, well....

Yes, I'm sure EON will get right on the whole releasing-it-a-year-earlier thing simply because you don't want to wait ...I've read alot of sources that either say 2010 or 2011 will be the release date for Bond 23....personally if its the latter,

you seem to enjoy bursting people's bubbles and untill i see offical word I belive it's comeing out in 2010 Wilson's comments are to cover his nothing more nothing less but he's hoping for a 2010 release.
watch January - march write the script March -july scouting locations get a director and finalize the script August- October casting and you begin filming January 2010 (and release the title hopefuilly The Hildebrand Rarity or Risico) you finnish by May post production thoughout summer (including getting the main title song artist) you test it september or october and release it November
your right there is no way it will be done in time for november 2010 it's physically impossible.
Yes i'm being srcastic but sorry Captain you shouldn't be mean to tothers.

I would hate a 3 year break, but I'd rather have that than a 2 year break resulting in a bad film (not that I'm saying 2 year breaks always produce bad films, just saying I'd rather they take the time to make sure they have it all sorted out)

Exactly right. As for waiting for Bond 23, we have no other option. We have to.Just think, back in the good ol' days, the first 4 came out EVERY YEAR! and they were the best of the series as well....go figure.

Quantum of Solace is poorly directed and badly written. I would prefer it if they waited three years. They need more time to develop a story and screenplay so that they are clear about where to go with it. If Casino Royale worked, than it is most likely because they spent four years carefully developing it. Why rush something into production when it could lead to a confusing mess like QOS?

I just can't stand people being selfish and impatient, like saying "no way in hell am I waiting three years for the film". I mean, what happens when two years go by and BOND 23 hasn't been released? He can't exactly make EON release the film then, can he? He has no choice but to wait the three years, so he's decided to whinge about it here when there are plenty of other topics that are worth discussing in its place.Your right Captain It probably will 3 years as i'm sure EON can't rpduce a script in 2.

we have little to no news and 2 thread on a quote from craig (though he di phrase it differently the second time) how "we're ready to begin"
We got nothing better to talk about.
as for Bond 23 I see no plausible reason for a 2011 release unless they are gonna do a summer 2011 release which would be a HUGE mistake. going up against batman and who knows what marvel has in store as well as ther usual sequel / adaption flare i dunno. Novemmber 2010 is looking might smart for bond 23. and as i've proven it's possible even with the "late" start date.

I'm afraid that you're the one who's sounding rather selfish. Rather selfish indeed.
This is a message board, a forum. It is a place where Bond fans discuss their opinions, ideas, personal tastes, thoughts, etc.
If a fellow Bond fan feels like saying that he's not patient enough to wait for another Bond movie, let him. What is wrong with that?
Yes, Eon will not listen to us unless to make a profit, such as taking bits and pieces and other suggestions as such from the fans on these same forums (and I do know that some out there are making a proverbial buck for it, at least).
I also don't feel like waiting for three years to wait for another Bond, and I honestly don't see what is wrong with that.
I don't know if you're being bitter towards life or if you're simply being an arrogant fellow, but quite honestly, none of those defects benefit anyone. Much less your person.

It's amazing how fast the time goes by though.
That is a very true statement. I still remember the day Craig was cast as if it were yesterday, and we've come a long way since then. Time flies when you're having fun, and the build up to the next film is always the funnest part of all.

Some of us waiting a lot longer, between Licence to Kill and GoldenEye.
No joke, I remember the six year wait, no big deal. Then we had the three year wait between TWINE and DAD, again no big deal. Then the four year wait between DAD and CR, again no big deal. I have no problem waiting three years for the next one.
Quantum of Solace is poorly directed and badly written. I would prefer it if they waited three years. One mans confusing mess is another man's masterpiece.

Looking at the big picture (nod to M ) we've actually waited an average of 2.09 years between Bond flicks - even with the various extended hiatus periods - and if we need to only wait until 2010 the average actually lowers to 2.08, and if we have to wait an eternity that is 2011 it'll be only 2.13.
No point losing one's mind over a piddling 0.14 of a year is it?

I'm willing to take the wait if what we get in the end is a really good Bond.
