I admit that it's so dumb you actually think it can't be anything but a joke.

And, wait a minute... aren't Mike and Babs telling us this IS only the second Bond film according to them?

The only person he talks to a lot is his mom, Em, a Britain woman whom I think is supposed to be the queen
"I give her the chance to write a review of Quantum of Solace and she thinks I'm Bond's mother. Is the girl deranged?"

This is quite funny. I wonder how old she is?
Its hard to say. She has the IQ of an unborn baby.

Pretty clearly a put-on, imo. Judo's observation is right on the money, as is the chic winky-wink header. The writer just isn't clever enough to pull off the charade: she writes well-rounded sentences, awkwardly blended with Valley Girlese. Be one thing or the other, toots.
I've spent my whole life in California. You'd be surprised how many girls like her there are.

Truth to be told though, personally I could only vainly hope to make an observation quite as brilliant as the above. There seems to be some fundamental, poetical justice to this line of reasoning.Ultimately, the man he ultimately blames for his wife ultimately drowning is a man that owns a water company.

Dead on accurate, my friend. Having lived in California for 10 years, there are tons of college educated air heads out there. Sadly, it too sounds like many I have known in real life.
I overheard one lady at a Mexican food restaurant in San Bernardino tell her friend that Cinco de Mayo was the fifth annual celebration of the independence of Mexico. She was articulate, but there was a lot of space between the ears.
Um, I take it back. This is too stupid. It must be a joke. No one is THAT dumb!

Living in Los Angeles, I keep reading surveys listing LA as most intellectual or literate city...if true, I can only fear for the stupidity of the rest of the world.
Edit: So I'm pretty sure this is a satire blog...all the other reviews are equally stupid. The running joke is that it's a young girl who has an obsession with Shia LeBoeuf reviewing movies.

This sentence made me want to track her down and shove her face in an atlas.

The same here. I never even thought of it that way.Truth to be told though, personally I could only vainly hope to make an observation quite as brilliant as the above. There seems to be some fundamental, poetical justice to this line of reasoning.Ultimately, the man he ultimately blames for his wife ultimately drowning is a man that owns a water company.
Yes, this is definitely a joke. There are too many giveaways. Could a person be that stupid? Yes. But they couldn't be that stupid and that clever at the same time.

I thought that was one of the clever lines, because it sounds stupid, and yet it's not completely incorrect.Daniel Craig returns as James Bond, a top-secret assassin for Britain’s England
This sentence made me want to track her down and shove her face in an atlas.

These posts makes we want to track several CBn-ers down and explain to them the concept of 'a joke'.
It's a comedy review. It's deliberate. "Britain's England", spoiler warning after the spoiler - it's meant for laughs. Are we really debating otherwise?!

Very amusing.
Dead on accurate, my friend. Having lived in California for 10 years, there are tons of college educated air heads out there. Sadly, it too sounds like many I have known in real life.
I've also encountered plenty of airheads outside of California. Some Midwestern woman had once mistaken my California accent as Jamaican.
Do you think it's possible for anyone to stop judging people for superficial reasons? If not, then some of you must be among those airheads living outside of California.
