Property Of A Lady - Fan Film Discussion

No, I present to you something different. PROPERTY OF A LADY is a fan-made parody with a serious tone about 2 friends and their struggles to procure tickets to the Quantum of Solace premiere.
The film seriously emulates the more dramatic elements of the story arc between Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace, and, if you've seen the films, you'll spot some of the many many parodies and allusions.
SNEAK PEAK: I hope to release the film as a peripheral to Quantum while it's still in theatres. For now, I present the initial action sequence that ignites the story. I hope you enjoy it.

You could be Bond OO7, ya know. What with the blond hair.Wow thanks everyone! I can't wait for you to see the finished product!
Your vid is very well organised and staged. There was some natural tension in there.
Very good luck with your project.
Cheers.

Reminds me of my few attempts at Bond.
Nice pace, good camera work, very well done action (Bob Simmons would give you a nod) and just great to see.
Cheers and thanks.

I'm hoping to give Bond a few attempts of my own perhaps next year.
Glad you all are enjoying it, the finished film should be out later this month!

The trick will be getting to all the locations. Something I've been toying with for the last few years.
Keep up the good work.

The climax of the film was shot over the expanse of this past weekend. The scene is a confrontation sequence between the 2 main characters and the 2 "villains." I won't say much more than that except that, through some clever rewriting, the final scene will be very familiar to Bond fans.
I plan to shoot a large scene this week as well. After that's finished it will only be probably another week and then Property of a Lady will be finished.

I forgot to mention this as well but I've settled on a production slate for '09.
I'm planning to direct an original spy thriller to be out by (at the latest) Summer of '09. Once I've got that and this production under my belt, I think I'm going to tackle Bond. Once I release this, I'll see what everyone thinks of my style and use it as a springboard for how I shoot my Bond.

You two are good. The stage fight is very nicely done. This is clearly not the run-of-the-mill fan film
I'm curious about the complete movie now

I'm afraid that, with the end of the semester putting a hold on my shooting schedule (I've two scenes left to shoot and reshoot), I have to push the release of Property of a Lady back to January. But to ensure that interest is upheld in the meantime, here is a trailer I threw together this morning. I hope you enjoy it.

I'm back up at college now, and I have just a bit more work to do and we'll see if Property of a Lady can finally be released!

So since I only have two more scenes that need shooting, and both of them are in the latter half of the film, I’ve decided to release the first half today.
I’d like to thank all of you for your support. This is my first film and for the most part, I’m happy with it. I hope you enjoy it.
