Party of "Solace"

As has become tradition here in L.A., I am, once again, having a get together for QoS.
Certainly not as grand as the premiere in London - of which I am sad to be missing -but what I've been scheming up should be fun as usual.
Here's the deal for anyone interested.
The mandatory bit - Black tie lads. Ladies, I've no doubt whatsoever that you will all look equally stunning. Us gents clean up pretty nice.
The details -
The gathering will take place on Saturday the 15th of November. Okay, I know, NOT OPENING NIGHT - but as many of my friends live in either the OC or the Valley here in L.A. - it's just easier for everyone who have lives, regular jobs and kids to deal with.
4-5pm Saturday - Arrival at Casa Bryce. A little wine, water and (if need be) redbull will be available.
6-7pm - Transportation provided will whisk all of us off to the Bridge cinemas and I'll have a block of seats and enough time for a martini in their lounge.
Post Screening - Return to Casa Bryce, everyone can use the loo and freshen up as need be.
Dinner - I'm not renting out the pub this year as I wish to keep the party small, but the venue I'm looking at (in the spirit of the film) should be able to handle our crowd and getting there - if all goes right - will be provided by yourselves. (i.e. - Your feet)
As Zencat put it in his DAD review, we'll all look like a "bunch of formally attired Marines" when we arrive.
After the feast, people are welcome back to Casa Bryce to, well, lounge about, drink, smoke, dance, get naked (that's more for the ladies - wink-wink-nudge-nudge, know what I mean) and it goes on to whenever.
I'm trying to keep this to about 25-30 people and there's only about twenty spots left.
So, PM, call, email me or just post here.
Also, there will be little junket bit we're doing with video. It should be a hoot. If you wish to participate, it's up to you.
So that's the scoop from Los Angeles.
No.....Really.

Don't forget to book the donkey.
OOPS! Wrong party.
Joyce wins one mule in a poker game in Brazil and now I'm throwing donkey parties?
What the Hell?
So what if I'm having a dancers pole installed in the living room?
My parties are a class act dammit!
*crickets chirp*
*tumbleweed blows through living room*
*coyote howls in distance*
What?

Which end of the donkey suit will you be, Macca?

Oh gosh... this is the reason why I stopped attending even my friends' wedding!
Have fun guys!

It is with deepest regrets that I must tell you that Mrs. Draco and I will be unable to make it this time around. We had a fabulous time at "Party Royale" and would love to attend another one of your events in the future, but the finances here are pretty dismal this year. Have a great time!

You're crossing the line there, sir.
The suggestion alone...
...
Have fun, everyone.
You know, when I grow up, I want to attend one of these things.

Now, D-O-7 - This entire "me drinking a martini" thing is completely out of line!
"Shocking...Positively shocking."
*pours ice cold Vesper into glass from frozen shaker*

You're always there in spirit Joyce.
As you will be, at the London premiere.

I just popped a xanax and downed a half-bottle of gin and I have no idea what the hell is going on in here...
Late breakfast today? My advice is to stay away from gin and vodka (Vesper's excluded) and stick to scotch or bourbon. That way everyone knows you're drunk and not stupid.

Good thing I have that $60 bottle of single malt on my night stand.

You learned well my son during your time at Casa Bryce.
It's not just for breakfast anymore.
*looks at Rolex*
Hmmm....Speaking of which...
*cracks seal on bottle of Highland Park 18*
Who needs a glass?
*grabs crazy straw*

Except for the gifted bottle of scotch which just ended up on the night stand, yes.

As most everyone is planning on seeing it opening night and a number of people's schedules changing, I'm stepping out of this one.
Not worth the cost or the planning and frankly, I'm wiped out right now.
Apologies to those that jumped in, but there's always Bond 23.
Maybe I just need some "Solace" this time around.
Enjoy the film. I know I will.
Again, apologies. Enjoy all.
